WOrship services are only being held via live streaming until further notice

Beginning Sunday, March 15th, Saint Luke’s worship services and studies and meetings will not be held in person until further notice. As hard as it is for me to say, please stay home this Sunday and Wednesday. Stay home tomorrow. Our worship will be live streamed. Committee meetings will be conducted online. Studies may move online at some stage.

On Sunday morning at 11 am there will be a livestream of our worship service. A small handful of worship leaders will be present physically, but I request you to be present with us virtually at 10:45 am for an introduction. The livestream will be done via Facebook live. To tune-in, go to www.facebook.com/StLukesNewYork. You do not need a Facebook account to watch nor do you need to sign up. The livestream will also be available later for you to watch at any time that’s convenient for you. The complete Sunday bulletin is accessible by clicking on the image below.

This crisis will pass. Until then, we will trust our God through the changes.

Even though we are not gathering physically, worship and music is not cancelled. Relationships will not be cancelled. Faith will not be cancelled. Love will not be cancelled. We will find our way together in this new wilderness.

From Rabbi Yosef Kanefsky:
“Every hand that we don’t shake must become a phone call that we place.Every embrace that we avoid must become a verbal expression of warmth and concern.Every inch and every foot that we physically place between ourselves and another, must become a thought as to how we might be of help to that other, should the need arise.”

Peace and love be with you all,

Pastor Arden Strasser
