December Events at Saint Luke’s

We’ve packed December with lots of exciting things to do!  Read the full post; then join us and share in month of worship, reflection, and fellowship.

Advent Begins Sunday December 2
Holy Communion Services each Sunday at 11:00 am

Advent prepares us for the three comings of Christ: in the flesh in Bethlehem, in our hearts daily, and in glory at the end of time. Worship with us during this season and share in the ancient longing for the coming of the Messiah, and to be alert for his Second Coming.

Advent Vespers Begin Wednesday December 5,  7:00 pm

You’re invited to a 30 minute candlelight service with chanting of beautiful melodies, sung prayers and reflection. Dinner and fellowship will follow in the Parish Lounge.  Pastor’s Homily will be as follows: Dec. 5   Saint Nicholas  – The purpose of gifts,   Dec 12   Saint Lucia – Letting go of what holds you,   Dec 19   Katarina von Bora Luther -The power of a partner
