Day of Pentecost at Saint Luke’s

Acts 2:2-4

“And suddenly from heaven there came a sound like the rush of a violent wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.”

Our church was filled with a display of fire and flames for The Day of Pentecost. Many attending wore something red; Pastor Strasser proudly displayed his red socks! A highlight of the inspiring service included our Choir’s performance of Bach’s Motet “Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf” – “The Spirit comes to help our weakness”, under the direction of our Choirmaster and Cantor Pedro d’Aquino. Great Job! Great worship service!

Come Holy Spirit.
