“I’m the new guy!”

announced Rev. Dr. Arden C. Strasser to the congregation of Saint Luke’s Lutheran before beginning the worship service on March 4, 2018. the Third Sunday in Lent.  He introduced himself humbly as he stepped into the role of our Interim Pastor, and then dove head first into the Lenten Liturgy.  Joining in the worship leadership were Rev. Dr. Martha Jacobi, Pastoral Associate, Cantor Pedro d’Aquino, Organist/Choirmaster, and the Saint Luke’s Choir.

Following the service, Pastor Strasser, his wife and two daughters were warmly welcomed into our family at Saint Luke’s during the Coffee Hour. He may be the “new guy”, but we are very excited to be his “new congregation”.
