In this 500th anniversary year of the Reformation, we celebrate another event which was fundamental for the Lutheran church. The Augsburg Confession, the central Lutheran confession written by Luther’s colleague Philipp Melanchthon, was presented to Emperor Charles the Fifth on this day in 1530. Join us!
Join us for Eucharist at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24 to celebrate the Ascension. Sing those favorite Ascension Day hymns; join the volunteer choir which rehearses immediately before at 6:15. A light reception will follow. We look forward to seeing you there!

8:00 am – Morning Prayer with Distribution of Ashes; 12:10 pm – Holy Communion with Distribution of Ashes; 7:00 pm – Holy Communion with Distribution of Ashes.

The Magi will once again visit Saint Luke’s on the Sunday closest to Epiphany, January 8th, at the 11 am service. They will bring their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh (and maybe chocolate…).
