Join us for a fitting observance of Columbus Day on Monday, October 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Parish Lounge for a reading of “Christopher Columbus” by award-winning playwright Nikos Kazantzakis, (“The Last Temptation of Christ”, “Zorba the Greek”).
A timely look at a critical text of the Reformation in this 500th Anniversary year, the class will examine Luther’s Small Catechism in its historical context. The text is brand new, prepared specially for this year and is illustrated with artwork from the time of the Reformation. Please join us.
After a break for staff vacations and deep cleaning, the Soup Kitchen resumed today with a healthy attendance of 100 meals served. Thanks to staff and volunteers!
